This issue of The Orthodox Wordfeatures the Life of St. Ilie Lăcătușu, a married priest who suffered for the Faith in Romania during the Communist period that began after World War II and ended in 1989. His holy relics are incorrupt, and many miracles have been worked through them, some of which are recounted in this article. He is one of sixteen new saints who are being canonized by the Romanian Orthodox Church during 2025.
